LEDNICE – VALTICE
Lednice was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1996.
The area covers an area of virtually 300 square kilometers. It is the most astronomically immense artificially man-made area in Europe.
The unique extensive landscaped park was built during the puissant Dukes of Liechtenstein mainly in the 18th and 19th centuries. Its main centres are two castles, Lednice and Valtice. In the area, there are series of minuscule romantic buildings incorporated into the landscape additionally. These includes the orangery, the Minaret, the Temple of Apollo, the Rybnicni chateau, the Imperium style farmhouse Novy dvur, the Hranicni chateau, the Temple of the Three Graces, the Januv castle, the Obelisk, the Belvedere castle and the hunting castle and the hunting castle Rendez-vous.
